We are a high-end wedding venue in the Hudson Valley looking for a Digital Marketing Strategist with a strong social media background to help lead and elevate our marketing efforts.
This is a hands-on, strategy-led role within a small, fast-moving team. While social media is a core focus, this person will also contribute to broader marketing areas including messaging, campaigns, and overall brand direction.
We already have content support in place — what we need is someone who can own the strategy, guide execution, and ensure our marketing efforts are actually driving inquiries and bookings.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and lead social media strategy (Instagram, TikTok, etc.)
- Define content direction — what we post, why it matters, and how it performs
- Partner with and provide direction to a junior marketing assistant to ensure strong execution
- Own both strategy and execution — setting direction while also ensuring it’s carried through
- Optimize content for engagement, reach, and conversion
- Contribute to overall marketing strategy and campaign planning
- Provide input and lead website messaging and brand positioning
- Identify opportunities for strategic marketing improvement - SEO, PR, etc.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong experience in social media strategy (this is a core requirement)
- Broader understanding of digital marketing and brand positioning
- Ability to think in terms of content, messaging, and conversion
- Comfortable working in a small business environment and wearing multiple hats
- Hands-on, proactive, and able to take ownership
- Strong understanding of Gen Z consumer behavior
- Experience in hospitality, events, weddings, or lifestyle brands is a strong plus
- This role may require content capture at events - some nights & weekends may be required from time to time
Role Details
- Part-time: 10–15 hours per week
- Flexible structure (independent contractor or salaried depending on fit)
- Hudson Valley / Westchester, NY strongly preferred
Compensation
Competitive and based on experience.
